*THEATRE KID: Any kid, especially high school-aged, who is involved with drama and or theatre at their school or community arts center. A true theatre kid will fit any of the following criteria:
-hangs out around the auditorium/chorus/band/theatre/tech booth in school -exclusively wears a shirt advertising their next production or celebrating the glorious memories of their former productions-wore costumes 24/7/365 until they started school and that school had a DUMB rule that they couldn’t wear costumes at school -has an abnormal number of inside jokes with other theatre kids -spells "theatre" with the e at the end of the word-obsessed with any of the following musicals; Spring Awakening, RENT, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton or anything else that most kids in the main stream would not know of. -hangs out at school at odd times AKA late after school, weekends, early mornings -often lacking a sense of personal boundaries with other theatre kids-close friends with their theatre, choir, band advisors-LOVES to perform to a fault
