You will also read from the script; sides will be provided at auditions.
In a dystopian town where water is scarce and restrooms are privatized, the poor must pay to pee. But when one young hero stands up against the system, a revolution flushes forth.
Urinetown is a satirical, Tony Award-winning musical filled with quirky humor, social commentary, and catchy songs. Think Les Mis meets Monty Python—with a lot more plumbing.
A wide variety of roles are available for performers of all ages 10+. Many roles feature comedic, dramatic, or ensemble moments, and all will be cast with a focus on ensemble collaboration and family-friendly fun. View the full list of roles and vocal ranges below:

Almost, Maine: Middle School Edition invites audiences into a whimsical world of love, laughter, and a little bit of magic. Set in a remote, snowy town that’s “almost” in Canada, this heartwarming and humorous play follows the residents of Almost as they navigate the ups and downs of falling in and out of love—often in the most unexpected ways.
With a series of charming, age-appropriate vignettes tailored for middle school performers, this special edition of John Cariani’s beloved play offers moments of joy, wonder, and quiet reflection. Under the glow of the northern lights, Almost, Maine reminds us that love can be surprising, tender, and—almost—perfect.
*This unique show is 8 scenes with 2-3 actors in each scene. We will work on actors availability to meet once per week until August when we will work on running the scenes in order and creating the coolest "17 min" anyone has ever watched on stage! *If you would like to read the script email megan@pytmi.com
