Become a Playwright!
3rd- 10th Grade
Who: All actors entering grades 3-5th for the 2023-2024 school year
What: This is a camp for the budding playwright! Do you have ideas but cant quite figure out how to make them come to life? This is the camp for you! Playwrights will have the opportunity to learn the "how to" of brainstorming, developing and writing their stage plays! The camp will culminate in the opportunity for playwrights to have their developed plays in a Friday staged reading (with actors from the PYTMI company!) for friends and family to enjoy!

Musical Theatre SHOWCASE!
ALL AGES!
Who: All actors entering grades 1-12 for the 2023-2024 school year
What: We will spend the week learning everything that goes into musical theatre and prepare a show. Actors will hone their acting, singing, and choreography skills! Actors will be able to explore their musical and theatrical interests. The camp will conclude with a performance of the musical on Friday evening at 6pm for friends and family to enjoy!
Actors will work throughout the camp learning all about auditining, rehearsing and performing! Actors will showcase their all around triple threat skills in our musical theatre showcase at the end of the camp week!

Techies UNITE!
Grades 3-12th
Who: All actors entering grades 3-12 for the 2023-2024 school year
What: We will spend the week learning everything about technical theatre! Through hands on experience, campers will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of producing stage productions including lights, sound, costumes etc and become the technicians for the Musical Theatre Showcase! The last day of camp we will meet at the performance location to run the tech for that show!
Where: T.B.D. (This camp may split time between two locations)

PYTMI's summer is starting off with a bang! The first program will be a week-long, full day summer camp for ALL AGES!

PRESS START transports us inside the bright, pixelated world of video games! When the famous characters we know and love run out of lives, they decide to put on a musical fundraiser that will help them raise gold rings and play on. Through hilarious and heartfelt musical numbers we see the heroes, villains and sidekicks like we’ve never seen them before. But when things go terribly awry, it’s the quiet sidekick Little Mushroom who must find the hero within to help save the day!

Creating Comedy Camp!
This camp is Full!
Who: All actors grades 3-11 for the 2023-2024 school year
What: Get ready to laugh and learn with Broadway star and award-winning comedian Chris O'Neill! This camp is designed to help both beginning and experienced young artists learn the timing, how-to and basic skills of physical comedy. This camp we will help you learn how to gain skills in creating and performing funny skits and think of ideas on the spot! You'll also learn how to trust your acting partner and create a pretend world. An expert comedian from this camp will learn about creating interesting characters, how to take big chances, and not be scared to make mistakes. Whether you want to do improv, clowning, or make your own funny videos, this workshop is for you...AND This camp will culminate in a comedy showcase!

We Are Monsters Camp!
Grades 1-4
Who: All actors entering grades 1-4 for the 2023-2024 school year
What: We will spend the week learning everything that goes into musical theatre and prepare a show. This camp is an awesome opportunity for young actros to learn from thir older friends! Actors will hone their acting, singing, and choreography skills! Actors will be able to explore their musical and theatrical interests. The camp will conclude with a performance of the musical on Friday evening at 6pm for friends and family to enjoy!
We Are Monsters is a hilarious new musical that follows human kids into a monster cabaret filled with quirky monster characters. The adventurous humans uncover vegetarian vampires and rock n’ roll werewolves, gradually realizing there may be more to these monsters than meets the eye! Most importantly these monsters and kids discover the importance of friendship and celebrating in the attributes that make each of us different and unique.

What: Using creativity and wonder, campers will explore the world of theatre! WIth imagination, dramatic play and creative brainstorming, actors will work together to devise and become artists and bring their stories to life... All while learning and developing the beginning skills of being an actor on stage!

Who: All actors entering grades 3-12 for the 2023-2024 school year
What: This Tech camp is designed with a hands-on interactive fun format. Play theatre games and make friends while you learn to design, paint, and build a set. We'll even learn to operate theatrical lighting and audio!
Camp ends with a special show that highlights all of our work, then a party and Strike!

This is the ultimate teen company hang out sesh...where we will put together an awesome showcase of all the things we have to offer on the last day of camp! TECH KIDS WELCOME ALSO!!!

Pirates! Aliens! Space Travel! Space Pirates tells the story of Gabby, a kid who gets picked on during a school trip to the museum. Everything quickly changes when an alien space ship accidentally beams Gabby and her classmates up to outer space. Things go from bad to worse when the alien space ship is suddenly attacked by SPACE PIRATES! It’s only after this whirlwind space adventure that Gabby becomes comfortable in her own skin, and her classmates appreciate her for who she is.

What: This Tech camp is designed with a hands-on interactive fun format.
It’s packed with tech theater & theater skills, knowledge, trivia, and tradition, fun, games, performance, and theater adventure!
Camp ends with a special show that highlights our work all week, then a party and Strike!
Monday through Thursday 9-4 pm. Friday 9-5. Friday will feature a presentation of our final show, a wrap party and then full strike wrapping at 5 pm Parents and families are invited to the show and party. Then we will do a full strike wrapping at 5pm. Parents can come back at 5 for pick up or wait in lobby or join in the strike.
